Hostgator.com is one of the most popular website hosting companies. They claim to host millions of domains (websites).

Hostgator was recommended to me after I was looking for a host where I can host multiple domains under one account. Since I do have many sites, it makes sense to pick a hosting plan where I can have many domains under a one price account.

So I went to the pricing page of HostGator and check out the plans they had. They have 3 plans: Hatchling, Baby, Business

The Hatchling plan comes with unlimited disk space and unlimited bandwidth but is only limited to one domain. It costs just $4.95 a month which is a good price. Since it was limited to just one domain, I skipped that one over.

The Baby plans includes everything the hatchling plan has but you can host unlimited websites on it. It only costs $7.95 a month so I picked that plan.

A quick look at the business plan reveals that the only difference between the baby and business plan is that on the business plan you get a dedicated IP for free, Private SSL and your own toll free #. That sounds nice if I indeed was taking phone orders or needed SSL. Since I don’t I got the baby plan for just $7.95.

I proceeded through the order. I already had a domain name so I used that instead of purchasing one from there. After all, I was looking for a place to host many domains under one account

So I got through ordering and waiting for my account to be setup. It took no more than 15 minutes before I got the email telling me my account had been setup and I could start using my account. If you don’t know how to move your site from one host to another, Hostgator can do the move for you. However I am experienced in this so I did it all myself.

I encountered no problems moving my site over and updating my domain to point to the hostgator servers. This website, nofuzzzmarketing.com is still residing where it has always been. I don’t plan on moving it around until it is necessary so those of you trying to dig around where this website is hosted, it is not at Hostgator. Reason being, I have a server colocated and have dozens of websites there. However, since I link to and from websites, I picked up a Hostgator account to push some websites over there and make it better for SEO.

I have been with Hostgator for several months now. I have never had a problem, until recently…

I pay my hosting costs via PayPal subscription. This month, July, 2009 my payment was made but then I got an email stating I had not paid yet. I quickly sent a reply back to that email and told them my subscription paid them a day before they sent the email. They checked and they couldn’t find my subscription payment so they asked for the receipt number. After I sent them that, all was cleared and got sent an invoice where the balance is 0. This whole thing was cleared up in less than an hour. They replied back quickly but since I was busy, I took my time replying back or else I think the problem would have been solved in about half an hour.

That’s a testament that their support service is lightning quick. So that’s the only problem I’ve had with them. It was solved quickly and they apologized for the inconvenience. This is the digital world so there’s an error or two that’ll happen.

Overall, I am highly satisfied with them. None of my websites have been offline ever since I moved them over to Hostgator. They sent me two noticed, one where they upgraded the version of PHP on the server I was on and also a notice stating they were going to upgrade MySQL. Everything went fine, no data loss and honestly, I didn’t notice any of my websites down so they probably had a backup running while they did the upgrades.

I recommend you try out Hostgator. They have been great with me. I have been with other hosts, a short list of them are: Parcom, Godaddy, Hostonce, Liquidweb and couple others. None have been as good as Hostgator. Check out Hostgator’s plans here: HostGator.com Hosting Plans

Andy Blacks Easy Article Rewriter is a free article rewriter that is hosted online. While it is free to use, you have to submit your email address. No worry though, you can opt out from the newsletter immediately and continue using the article rewriter. As I said, it is online so there is a benefit right of the bat. You don’t have to install any programs on your computer for it to work. Just use your browser to login to the members area.

image1

When you login you are presented with a big box and you will paste your original article.

image2

After you paste it, you scroll down and click the parse button. For the purpose of this review, I used an article of mine that is published and live at EzineArticles.com

Alright, so I clicked the parse button and I am taken to a new window. In the new window I first see what my word count is. The original article contained 365 words according to Easy Article Rewriter. Now below that I am given instructions on how to rewrite the article. So each sentence is put into it’s own box and there is an empty box below that.

image3

So I get to rewrite each sentence one by one. This is much like the other article rewriting programs where you have to type [ ] or { } and put your alternative sentences in there. It’s the same thing. Except, it is much frigging easier to do here. I have article rewriters where you have to type in { } and [ ] to indicate a sentence rewrite. So annoying. So I give Easy Article Rewriter a thumb up on this way they did it.

So looking at this, it should be pretty easy. There is 23 sentences I need or can rewrite. I shall rewrite them and continue with the review when I am done. I’ll let you know how long it took to rewrite this 365 word, 23 sentence article.

Alright, I am done rewriting. I left the last 2 sentences as is since it is my signature and I really don’t want that reworded or changed. It took me 10 minutes to do the rewrite. Hmmmm, in that amount of time, I could have written a brand new article from scratch. So far, I am not happy! Of course, I have yet to see the results. So let me click Collate Article button and see the results.

image4

Alright, so I clicked the collate article button. I end up with 1 article. It is 412 words according to the button at the end of it. After reading the article. It’s just the sentences I wrote but placed in paragraph format. I am rather let down. I thought it would actually collate the sentences with the original article and come up with a gazillion variations. However, if it did that, then the results wouldn’t be unique and wouldn’t pass Copyscape.

I went back to watch the video to see if I could place more than one alternate sentence for each original sentence. It did not say yes or no. It did not touch on the subject so I am going to assume it’s a no.

My verdict, for a free article rewriter, I think it does a good job. It is good for those who easily lose their place when rewriting an article. If you alt tab between articles when doing a rewrite and lose your place easily, then I highly recommend Andy Black’s Easy Article Rewriter. That way, you have the original article split by sentence and you can rewrite it there without hitting alt tab to switch back and forth between documents.

What would make this article rewriter real good is if it allowed you to enter more than one replacement sentence. This feature might be in it, but it was not illustrated in the video and I didn’t test it. I will update this lens when I have done a test with multiple sentence variations for each sentence and let you know if I still only get one article or various ones that have indeed been collated. You can check out this free article rewriter here: Easy Article Rewriter

PHP Link Cloaker is a tool written in php and is used to cloak your affiliate links. It converts your traditional affiliate links structure into something that is easy to remember and something that doesn’t look like an affiliate link.

The price for it is less than $10, well $9.95. Do I think that is expensive? Certainly not. Having the benefit to cloak your links is well worth it. It is a proven fact that people are less willing to click on links that look like affiliate links. Therefore you should always and I mean always cloak your affiliate links. There are many methods to cloaking your links. You can create .htaccess files, you can create php files and you can create html files and the list goes on. There are many ways to cloak your affiliate links.

However, the problem with that, it is tedious to cloak each link manually. It would be much easier if you could just g to an administration panel, type in your affiliate link and type in the friendly, cloaked version and hit submit. Well PHP Link Cloaker does just that. You just login to your admin panel and create your affiliate link and you’re done.

Another great feature of this is that you can track how many people click your link. You can set it to track only unique clicks as well, that way if some clicks over and over on your link, you don’t get your click number up from just one person clicking on it.

Following are some screen shots of how to use this program. When you login you see the home page with several options. To create a cloaked link, just click the text that reads “New Campaign” and you will be taken to a page when you name your campaign, that will be the friendly part of the url and link destination which is your actual affiliate link. See the image below:

As you can see, it is real easy to create your affiliate link. Once you click create campaign, you are sent to the PHP Link Cloaker campaigns where you can see all the affiliate link cloaks you have created. I create an affiliate link that redirects to http://www.NoFuzzMarketing.com and my campaign name is InternetMarketing. You can see what it looks like here:

You can see that there are 0 clicks and 0 unique clicks, after all I just made it. The scissor icon is for editing the campaign. For example if your affiliate changes, you don’t have to go through all the pages and update the link, just return to the admin panel, click the scissors icon and update your link and it will update everywhere. The lightning bolt icon is if you want to reset the stats back to zero. The red x is to delete the campaign. It’s useful if you stop promoting something then there is no need for it to continue redirecting people to said pages so just delete the campaign and it’s done.

See how easy it is? Does it work? Most certainly. It worked each and every single time we clicked on the cloaked link. Is it worth the $9.95 that it’s selling for? Definitely yes! Will your sales increase using cloaked affiliate links? Yes, yes yes!!!

I hope my review of this products helps make up your mind on this product. It is a real good product and real easy top use. If you are dissatisfied with it, just ask for a refund and you will be issued a refund with no questions asked. Easy as that. You have up to 6 days to return it. So you want to buy this affiliate link cloaker? Sure, click here: PHP Link Cloaker

I especially liked Chapter 6, How To Get Banned From Twitter. That is because it shows what you can do to have your account banned. You will lose the followers, you will lose your credibility and most important, you will lose your future sales!

Chapter 5, How To Drive Traffic & Sales With Twitter, is the cream filling of this report. This is the part of the report you want to pay special attention to. This chapter the stupidly simple things you can do to get traffic to your websites and make sales. This chapter also has a section on how to promote a product launch on twitter. This is important because certainly you are working on a new product that will need a launch. With your Twitter following and of course the distribution of users on there, it is keen to use Twitter and the method explained here to guarantee a successful product launch.

Chapter 8, Extremely Useful Twitter Tools, is a chapter that lists various tools, their functions and the links where to get them. All these tools are very useful. All the tools listed are free and better than other paid products. So other than getting this great report, you will also getting an arsenal of Twitter tools to aid you in your business. There even is a twitter tool for your iPhone and iPod touch! The free tools listed here is alone worth the selling price!

If you plan to do some Internet marketing to promote your business endeavor, you should seriously consider email marketing as at least one tier of your Internet marketing campaign. Many business owners shy away from email marketing because they believe all email marketing campaigns are purely spam. However, this is not true and not partaking in this type of marketing can cause your business to lose out on a great deal of business. By not appealing to potential customers via email, your business may lose a great deal of business to competitors who are using email marketing campaigns to reach customers around the world. However, the first step of an email marketing campaign should be creating an email distribution list. This article will discuss some popular options for doing this and should help to the reader to learn more about what is acceptable and what is not when it comes to email marketing.

Once you have made the decision to start using email marketing to promote your business you are likely facing the dilemma of compiling an email distribution list. This is essentially a list of email addresses to which you will email your advertising and promotional materials. One common way to gain a list of email addresses is to purchase a list from distributors. However, this method is not very effective at all and we do not recommend it. The problem with purchasing an email list if you have no way of knowing whether or not the members of the list would have any interest at all in your products or services. This is very important because while you want to reach a large audience with your email marketing you also want this audience to be members of your overall target audience.

When you purchase an email list you may be sending your email messages to some users who might be interested but this is largely coincidental and is not likely to be well received because the message was not solicited.

Internet users are very quick to delete materials they believe to be spam without even opening or reading the emails. In fact some Internet service providers include spam filters which may automatically delete your emails if your messages are deemed to be spam. These filters run complex algorithms on the subject heading and content of the message to determine whether or not it is spam and are quite adept at weeding out spam. Therefore you run the risk of having your email marketing effort turn out to be a complete waste if the majority of recipients never even read or receive the message.

A far better way to create an email distribution list for your email marketing campaign is to ask current customers as well as interested potential customers to register with your website to receive additional information and periodic updates about your products and services as well as other information which might be of interest to them. This provides you with a database of email addresses from current customers as well as potential customers who have a genuine interest in your products and services and who are interested in learning more about these products and services.

Once you have a list of interested customers or potential customers you can send emails or create e-newsletter for distribution to the members of your email list. These documents should contain a wealth of valuable information as well as a soft sell pitch for your products and services. This information will be valued by the readers and may help to persuade them to try your products and services.

You might also want to include useful links to either your website as well as other websites which may be of interest to your readers. Your content should also contain a portion which urges the reader to take a specific action such as making a purchase or at least investigating a product further.

There are many free blogging tools on the market, but loading up your blog with all of the free accessories that you can find isn’t necessarily a good idea. While it may be tempting to add a visitor counter, a flashy background, an exciting new font, and a cluster of quirky animated gifs to your blog, this kind of plan can easily backfire. The key to getting the most from free blog tools is being selective.

It is a great idea to learn about all of the kinds of free blogging tools that are available so that you can make an informed decision about what to add to your blog, but try to remember that just because you can have something doesn’t mean that you need it. Practice restraint and only choose the options that you think will really be useful. If you can find out how many visitors are reading your blog by checking your traffic statistics, a visitor counter is likely to add unnecessary clutter to your page. If your blog is text-based, a flashy background can be more of a distraction than an benefit. Be realistic about assessing what kinds of blog accessories will help you realize your vision and improve your site. Remember that even a blog tool that doesn’t cost you any cash may not be an asset in the long run.
